Products and Descriptions
All toys sold by Shiningvractiveo are handmade in our Auckland studio, which means each piece is unique. Slight variations in size, colour, texture, and appearance are normal and part of the charm of handcrafted items. These variations are not considered defects.
Product images on our website are for illustrative purposes only. While we strive to accurately represent our products, colours may vary slightly due to screen settings and lighting conditions. The actual product you receive may differ slightly from images shown.
We reserve the right to modify product specifications, materials, or designs at any time. If significant changes occur after you place an order, we will notify you and offer the option to cancel.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable, as required by New Zealand tax law. Prices are current at the time of display but may be subject to change without notice.
The price charged for your order will be the price displayed on our website at the time you place your order, unless there is an obvious error. If we discover a pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order.
Payment must be received in full before orders are dispatched. We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and bank transfers. All payments are processed securely through PCI DSS compliant payment processors. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorised to use the payment method.
If payment is declined or fails, we reserve the right to cancel your order. We are not responsible for any fees charged by your bank or payment provider.
Orders and Order Acceptance
By placing an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase products at the prices and terms stated. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Product availability
- Pricing errors
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Violation of these terms
Order confirmation will be sent via email once we have accepted your order. This confirmation constitutes our acceptance of your offer. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you and provide a full refund.
Custom orders require a non-refundable deposit (typically 50% of the total price) and are subject to a separate agreement regarding design specifications, materials, timeline, and final pricing. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
Shipping and Delivery
We ship within New Zealand and internationally. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order. Shipping times are estimates only and may vary depending on:
- Your location
- Postal service conditions
- Customs clearance (for international orders)
- Public holidays and peak periods
We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs authorities, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Risk of loss or damage to products passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
For international orders, you are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by your country's customs authorities. These charges are not included in our prices or shipping costs.
If your order does not arrive within the estimated delivery time, please contact us. We will investigate and, if necessary, arrange a replacement or refund.
Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Due to the handmade nature of our products, we do not accept returns for change of mind. Each toy is crafted individually and cannot be resold as new once it has left our studio.
If your item arrives damaged or is faulty, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with clear photographs showing the damage or fault. Once we have reviewed your claim, we will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
Custom orders, including memory bears and personalised items, are non-refundable once production has begun. If you need to cancel a custom order before production commences, you may be eligible for a partial refund minus any design consultation fees.
We do not offer exchanges. If you need a different product, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.
All returns must be in their original condition and packaging where possible. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our website or placement of orders after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
We recommend reviewing these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates. Material changes will be highlighted on our website or communicated via email if you have an account with us.
